The Natural History Museum Vienna is one of Austria's largest museums and one of the most important natural history museums in the world. It houses around 30 million objects. Since its opening in 1889, the NHM Vienna has strived to live up to the words carved above the museum's entrance: 'Committed to the realm of nature and its exploration'. The museum and its collections reflect the diversity of animate and inanimate nature in 40 spacious exhibition rooms. Highlights include glittering minerals and precious stones, meteorites billions of years old from the far reaches of our planetary system, dinosaurs and other spectacular fossils, a wealth of familiar, rare and extinct animal species, and even creatures that have never even existed.
The ticket entitles the holder to one admission to the museum for the selected time slot. The duration of your stay during opening hours is unlimited.
For reduced-price tickets please be prepared to show proof of eligibility at the entrance.
